Add or remove a workstream
A workstream is a bundle of related tasks, like Venue & Site or Volunteer Recruitment. The wizard picks them when you create an event, and you can add or remove them at any point afterwards from the event's Settings page.
Adding a workstream
Open the event, click the gear icon, and scroll to Add a workstream. Workstreams the event doesn't have yet are grouped by area, each with a short description and a task count. Tick as many as you need and click Add. Their tasks, any new buckets and any budget lines they bring land on the event immediately, and the tasks are assigned by skill just like at creation.
When one is blocked
Some workstreams depend on a feature. A blocked one stays visible with the reason, most often "Needs Sponsorship pipeline turned on in Event options above". Flip that switch, higher up on the same page, and it becomes available.
Removing a workstream
Workstreams already on the event are listed at the bottom of the card, each with a Remove button. Core workstreams such as Event Definition, Budget and Thank-yous & Acknowledgment show Always on instead and can't be removed.
Removing archives the tasks. It doesn't delete them. Progress, comments and attachments stay with the archived tasks. Add the workstream back later and the same tasks return exactly as they were, including any you'd already marked done.
Short-runway warning
If the event is close, a warning appears before you add anything. New tasks are fitted into the time that's left, so they can land on tighter dates than the tasks the event started with. If the event was set up to keep its original dates, the warning says so instead, and some new tasks may show a due date that has already passed.
