Open and edit a task
Every task lives on its event's Tasks tab. Its detail panel holds the full picture: owners, dates, progress, notes, a checklist, attachments and comments.
Opening a task
Click the arrow at the end of a task's row, or the chevron on a phone-sized card, to open its detail panel. Clicking anywhere else on the row opens or closes its notes right in the list, which is the quickest way to skim what a task says.
What's in the detail panel
Title, primary and secondary owner, bucket, progress, parent task (to make it a subtask), start and due dates, notes, a checklist, attachments and comments. A task's assignee, or any owner or admin, can edit it and delete it from here. Deleting asks you to confirm first, because it's permanent.
Change status from the list or the panel. The status pill on each row opens a short menu: To do, In progress, Blocked or Done. The Progress field in the detail panel does the same thing.
Who can edit
Owners and admins can edit any task. Members can edit tasks assigned to them, but only an owner or admin can change who a task is assigned to. Once an event is Completed or archived, only its owner and the organization owner can edit its tasks.
