Budget vs. fiscal-year reports
An event's Budget tab is the place to work on its numbers. Reports is where you step back and see them as a summary, or across every event.
Budget tab or Reports?
Use the Budget tab to log and edit expenses, revenue and goals for one event. Use Reports to review the results: This Event gives the same event's totals as a clean summary with breakdowns by category and source, and Fiscal Year rolls every event together.
What's included
Received sponsorships and donations are already counted. Anything marked Received on the Sponsors tab counts as revenue in both views, so there's nothing extra to log. Ticket sales count only if they were logged as Tickets revenue on the Budget tab.
